In Love With Ombre | Wedding Inspiration

Hey Y’all! Look around and you’ll find ombre everywhere…ombre hair, ombre nails (ok, maybe just your toes), ombre dresses, and of course ombre weddings! Ombre has already taken over the world, but this week, it’s taking over the blog. My favorite thing about ombre isn’t the progression from light to dark (which is gorgeous!), but what this style represents.

Choosing one specific color and matching all of your details to that color can feel too orchestrated and a little boring. Plus, when your bridesmaids dresses end up a little more teal than turquoise with only a few weeks until the big day…well, you get the point.  Deciding to highlight a spectrum of colors in your wedding decor brings a sophisticated and natural feeling to all of your elements, as if the details came together on their own (yeah right!).

Blue Ombre Wedding Inspiration

When I went looking for inspiration, my first instinct was to go straight for the pink. As I scoured Pintrest, I was inspired by one of my new brides, who’s planning a beach themed wedding in the Tucson desert. For the ceremony, make an impression with a custom watercolor backdrop in the colors of the Caribbean sea. So stunning! Mismatched bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen in bowties are perfect for a stylish yet laid back bridal party . Reception tables covered in blue and white hydrangea along with sea glass bottles holding long, tapered candles add a touch of romance to a beachy evening in the desert.
