Hey Y’all! I’m so excited because, in just a few short days, I’ll be able to say two of my absolute favorite words…Summer’s Over! And, even though we can expect for it to be HOT here in the desert for a few more months, I’m celebrating! It’s not just the cooler temperatures that make fall my favorite season (I’m ready to break out those cable-knit sweaters!). It’s the beautiful fall weddings. So, I thought that I would celebrate with a little autumn inspiration!
Just because you aren’t blessed with crisp morning air and colorful changing leaves, doesn’t mean that you can’t evoke that classic fall feeling through your decor. Deep burgundy paired with neutrals like straw and camel create a classy autumn color palette. Nothing says ‘summer’s over’ like rich, heavy fabrics, and a velvet envelope liner perfectly sets the tone for the event.
Don’t hesitate to incorporate quintessentially autumn touches! Apple cider cocktails, a pie buffet, and those adorable acorn escort cards will put your guests in an autumn state of mind. I just love a groom dressed in tweed or herringbone (both heavier fabrics perfect for cooler temperatures), but my favorite part of this board has got to be the arbor! If you’re getting married in Tucson, using beautiful fall leaves instantly gives your wedding that special touch that will have guests swooning from the moment that they arrive!
